You would need to shoot it out of a scuba tank directly into the mixing tunnel with software to manage the timing and fuel... that said you will not see too much improvement.... just use no2 to achieve REAL results with FAR less effort.

In progess: track down mystery noise <-identified, paint the new dash, get better pic
Spring plans: Replace Trans - Integrate ECU with the carputer - Suspension - Go back to STI Filter - Paint? Maybe not - Next Oil change: Purolator L30165

A compressor? Like the $10 kind you use to fill your tire when it's low? Not a chance. If, as Speedklix suggested, you used a SCUBA tank to fire a massive rapid blast of air into the intake, I'm betting the car would just stall. The software wouldn't be able to adapt quickly enough and you would run hugely lean, and stall.

Either that, or all the air would blow back out the intake.. The compressed air is going to find the path of least resistance, since you'd be dumping it into the intake somewhere, it'd just shoot right out the air filter box...

Which is why it would have to be placed way in there to see any benefit.
