drilled sloted direction

i have drilled slotted rotors and i have seen some pictures of ...svxs and other cars with them too...i was wondering is there a "correct" direction of which way the drill/slots are supposed to go?

i have the drill slots (facing towards the front of the car)....
so...

front of car <--- drill/slot direction \\\\\\

I replaced mine about two months ago and the slots are facing towards the rear of the car. They were labeled that way when I bought them and the original rotors I took off were also facing the rear.

mine are like that too - and they are labelled so I think that is correct.
