As far as I know... it IS the guys at Smallcar that are selling them on eBay. That's what he said he was doing a few months ago when they actually started producing/selling them. I didn't think they were letting 'em go for THAT cheap, though.

This was from small car. they do sell items on EBAY. I must have been the only one financially interested at the time to get it at that price..............

I have not seen one on ebay for quite a while now. Only the package deal with grill and light kits.

No, I would say it looks better because now it's real mesh with 'sqare' holes. I'll have it painted this week.

Thumbs up

Finally I got it painted and installed. It was worth the effort.

I visited Small Car a few days ago to pick up their clear lights and the grille. I was disappointed in how the grille looks. From a distance it looks pretty good, but up close it looks like cheap ricer parts. (Okay, that's not entirely fair.) To be honest, it's not bad looking, but it definitely does not have the same fit and finish as the OEM unit. From the painted one on the car they had out front, it appears that it's hard to paint right up to the mesh area. Again, most people wouldn't notice, but since many of us clean our cars with tooth brushes and know exactly how many rock chips we have and where they're located, it's something that would bother me.

The other day I spotted another SVX and noticed that the grille looked really sharp. I thought it was a solid black mesh grille between the headlights. When I got closer I saw that the grille was simply missing! ...but it looked pretty good until I got close. So, after noticing how good a blacked out grille looks, I did buy the clear lights from Small Car, but I declined the grille. I think the hardware store should have everything I'll need for my grille.
