one more thing
aside from the repair bills he loves the car, as much as a man who cars nothing about physical belongings can love a car. we had to switch cars for a week and i drove his bonniville to transport and he was sold. the only thing he complained about is he had trouble fitting his golf bag in the trunk... yupy. |

I do however have a AM/FM radio with tape deck from a 1995 Subaru Impreza if anyone wants it. The buttons are faded, but it still works, I think. It was replaced (for free ) a couple years ago, and was still working at the time it was removed. Been sitting for a while though, so I dunno. I can post pics if anyone is interested.

how much is the SVX you are looking at?
How much do you have right now? How much do you have in hand at the end of every month?(after bills and other spending) Are you going to be able to love and cherish your SVX in bad times and good? and in tranny failures and good 1/4 mile times? I spend about $300-$400 in repairs/mods on my SVX monthly. Then again I am still getting my crap together as this car was a mess when I got it. SO in ending, let your father know you are prepared to face the responsiblity of owning a HIGH maintenance sports coupe and all of it's glorious power. When a Dad hears that his son is ready to take on responsibility seriously, he will let you go and do whatever. This is comming from a 20yr. old college kid that works his ass off to keep these cars running, so be prepared to do the same unless you are rich. Tom P.S. good luck man I hope to see you around and maybe even at Reading VI. |
