Worth it?

There's a white SVX with the black painted roof near my dad, it's got around 138k miles but is in good condition, timing belt, bearings, and axles have all been replaced, the guy put like 2grand into it, no history of transmission problems, what do you think for 4 grand? Is it worth it? It's a 92 by the way. thats about 11k miles per year, the guy sounds honest

Sounds dangerous, better let me buy it and if it has the origional transmission that might be up for a change in the not too distant future other than that I'd say it dosn't sound bad. If you can rebuild the transmission yourself I think it can be done for arround $800 including an overhauled TC.
