I'm the second owner of my '94. I haven't even had it a year, which means the previous owner had it for ten years. That's a pretty long time for an original owner. She was a school teacher in Fairbanks Alaska and traded it in for a Honda. (I did the exact opposite.
 )All Wheel Drive is important to me. I considered an Imprezza RS and an Audi GT. Imprezzas cost too much and have no character; and there's a good reason the Audis haven't held their value. In hindsight, I'm still very happy with my decision. With the exception of an STI, any of the Audi S's, or maybe a Volvo S60R, there are no other cars I would consider equal, and none that meet my budget.

I don't know how many people owned my car before me.
I wish my car could talk because I'm sure it would have some interesting stories to share. I don't know what all my car has been through and I'm not really sure I want to know.

No idea what the original owner paid for it!

I am the second owner of my SVX but if you run a carfax on it it says I'm the original owner. Go figure.

I am the original owner of my 1992 SVX.
I also looked at the Lexus ES300, Acura Vigor, RX-7, Mitsubishi both Talon and 3000 whatever, Toyota Supra and Celica. Most I only cursorily considered. One of the most important things I needed was a usable back seat since I hav two daughters who were 6 and 7 at the time but I knew I would have the car for a while and they would grow. Quite a few "sporty" cars had back seats that were like sitting in a bucket. I believe I paid $25,500 - $27,376.90 including fees and 6% state sales tax. With Touring package and spoiler.
