PA rally

i just got this e-mail from Subaru. i don't know where this town is, but it sounds pretty cool.

"Dear Subaru Owner:

The Susquehannock Trail Pro Rally is legendary, thrilling drivers and observers alike for the last 25 years.

Come see for yourself—and see what a huge player Subaru has become in road rallying. The vast majority of competitors drive a Subaru, even though we no longer sponsor a factory race team.

The race begins in downtown Wellsboro, PA on JUNE 5 at 10 a.m. at the Green. The town essentially closes to focus on the rally. Residents rent out cabins, rooms in their homes and set up camps along the rally course to witness the event.

Subaru will have a tent set up near the start line. Inside we will have a display of performance parts and someone from the engineering staff to discuss our line of performance parts. We will also have a limited supply of giveaways available.

From Wellsboro the race runs deep into the Pennsylvania woods where early on there is a huge water crossing that is lined with spectators waiting to see which driver makes the biggest splash—or doesn’t get through.

The race goes through the town of Germania, traveling through roads that have a myriad of twists and turns that are ripe with excitement.

Subaru Corporate definitely digs rally racing. Its a good thing too because rally racing needs some support right now.

I'm probably going to go to this. My parents have a house just south of Wellsboro, as they used to own a ski resort in that area. They never use it anymore, and it's big enough to accommodate a bunch of people. If anyone wants to tag along, let me know.

went there last year with jiffy and jared (subaruwrc and jard, respectivly on nasioc) had a blast it was pouring rain, and the water crossing had been canceled due to water levels. We rented a campsite and slept in tents at a campground right next where the water crossing was to be.
i really enjoyed the camping and honesly would prefer to do it again, i just think that camping out and watching rally goes well together.
