I did some reading on it...

1000 megs of storage, supposedly it is very easy to sort messages. The idea is to never have to delete ANYTHING.

Sounds pretty nice.

Yep, 1GB free. But all that hard drive space has to be paid for somehow. Google scans all your emails for so-called "hot-words" and displays ads and banners depending on which ones it finds.

I would definitely be ok with that, as long as it is free. Anyone know when actual launch date (not beta) is going to be?

The only thing I worry about, is that it will get as slow as hotmail. Seems like there will be tons of users.

Looks like you either hate it or love it. There are some people in Cali suing on the grounds that their email scanning software violates state wiretap laws...
