Gbox for reconditioning

Well, I'm still trying to get my car back on te road after 12 weeks. Had te box reconditioned, on it's return te front diff was tumping at low speed and on lock. Back to te reconditioner - seems a new solenoid was needed. Got it back today, seemed ok for 15 miles, ten te same ting - but on te rear diff! It was great for those few miles tho'!!

Anyway, I have a spare box tat is in need of reconditioning - it was out of my spares car. May be of use if someone wants to get their box done witout the car being off the road.

Make me an offer anyone. If no-one interested, it will be in the scrap bin at the garage.

Hi Tony, just an idea about your rear dif. Mine did it the same. Refurb trany went ok for 20-30kms and than felt someting wrong during shifting. As it showed up, rear diff bushings broke and so shaft is little bit down than it should be and causing thumbs between chaging gears. It was very very hard to get these ... bushings, I waited for 2 months, finaly arrived yesterday...
As for me rear diff is bulletproof if well serviced (oil check)
Peter
