2 Extremes

I've always wanted to see if anyones set their SVX up for (i know its not ideally suited for this but,) road races, autoXing or track duty with slicks, 5-spd. roll cage, stripped interior or something along those lines. If you have seen such a monster and have pictures, gimme!

On the other end of the spectrum, something else i've always wondered if someone has been insane enough to do...an SVX with 33" swampers!!!, ok, so maybe 33" swampers wont fit in the wheel wells, but an svx that is jacked up a little with knobby tires or some sort, maybe a make-shift ram bar?

these two things are filed under my winning-100-million-dollars-and-going-on-an-insane-spending-spree-if-i-win-the-lottery
to-do list, right under the Volvo 240 with an LS6

Oh my gosh, our secret's out!!

I'm the guy Porter's working with this weekend.

I'm working with a group of homeschool students prepping an SVX for autocrossing in the Grassroots Motorsports Challenge this April.

The interior is gone, suspension's going in tomorrow, rollcage is being fabricated, running sticky tires and nitrous.

I had a little thread going at:

Homeschool Racer

I fell behind- I'll get the thread updated this week.

no but i did see the very last car i would have ever expected to be lifted and about 33 inch tires put on, with a huge body/suspension lift.... think, what would be a car, that absolutly NOBODY would lift

how bout a ford GT-40... I really really really really hope it wasn't an original although i would doubt anyone would do that... i saw it on a flat bed truck on the highway by me, couldn't believe it... had to have been an expensive project though, even with a kit (do they make gt40 kits??)
