Met some new SVX owners!

We were out shopping today near Twyford, and we met Matt & Claire - A delightful couple who have recently purchased a stunning black '93 Alcyone.

Over an hour was spent examining each other's cars and chatting about SVX ownership. We passed on the club details, so hopefully they'll drop in and say hello.

Phil & Belha.

Thumbs up

Nice one guys.

Hope they do drop in.

Getting near the time we would want to be planning a Summer meet, if all are interested.

Joe

Hi Joe,

A meet this summer sounds like a really good idea. We really enjoyed last year in Torquay.

Any ideas on where and when? (and who is going to organise it?)

Phil & Belha.

I'll be wearing the red carnation...

Hi all.

Like Phil an Belha, I really enjoyed our first meet. I would really like to get together again somewhere.

I'll offer the Midlands as a venue and also offer to organise something if this is chosen for the meet. Lots of places here - Warwick and Kenilworth castles, Stratford, National Heritage Museum (great car museum), Prodrive and their test course etc, great stately homes for picnics.

My diary already has a number of weekends taken up and I guess others must be the same.

We should probably start a meet thread.

Looking forward to it already!!

Meet and two veg

There was talk about going on the continent, possibly Amsterdam, to suit some of our Austrian mates.

There was also talk about a Midlands meet, with Tony in the driver seat on the organisation front. I am game for whatever suits the majority. Less expense would suit me, the firm I worked for closed the Dublin office and left me adrift.

How about doing what Tony suggests? Put up a meet thread, outline the possibilities, and go with the flow favoured by the majority??

Joe

I'm up for it too, my only restrictions are the school holidays and a budget of £5,

Thumbs up Meet

Well, we discussed that some time ago!

I would love to go to a meet!

In Austria I know just one other SVXer, but there are some from Switzerland and Germany.

The German SVXer have a meet in June, maybe some of them should post when and where!

But a general European meeting in Amsterdam would be great.
