Iris vacuum valve part number.

Hi everyone.

I have some broken parts, I think they are called Iris vacuum tank and check valve.

https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/vi...asc&highlight=

The parts are number 7 vacuum tank and number 8 valve from the link above. (Don't worry they are not going in a van). What are the part numbers and availability?

I think the valve is (16195AA030...Check Valve...$21.08) does that sound right?

Do I need to take off the manifold to replace it? Will I need manifold gaskets as well?

Thanks for the help!

-Jason

Re: Iris vacuum valve part number.

Pretty sure your going to have to pull the intake manifold if you have to replace the vacuum tank. If your going that far you might as well address everything you can. Follow this link and it gives the vacuum hoses to replace. http://www.subaru-svx.net/photos/files/How-To/30340.pdf
