Dash console lights faded in and out....

I have a 1994 Subaru svx L
I have two cars the Subaru is the project and been restoring her, I’ve been having dash console light issues last couple months where the battery light icon, e-brake , and lastly stop lamp light icon have been fading in and out and only becoming more frequent. When I accelerate the dash console lights would fade away back to normal now overtime after I take my foot off the peddle the lights fade back in on my console dash even stronger. when I am braking and completely stopping the lights get brighter and when idle there almost full bright icons. Can someone explain to me if this is a alternator or electrical problem?? car starts right up, music runs loud and smooth, windows are a bit slower rolling up and down, the headlamps are bright as hell and always have been since the last two batteries I’ve purchased, Granted this alternator is probably 9 years old and perhaps it’s desth cycle is coming up??I recently bought a new battery as well thinking that was the problem and the old battery needed replacing anyway cause I’m not good at switching my cars out and the battery dies....This will be the 4th battery replaced out of 11 years I’ve owned my svx.

Your alternator is going bad. Take care of it before it damages something or leaves you stranded.

Agreed. The alternator should put out approx. 14.2 volts. Christmas tree lights are the classic SVX cry for help, "Captain we're getting critically low on dilithium chrystals"!
