Exclamation Changes, changes, and more changes!

Some of you will notice that there have been a few(many) changes here tonight.

First we now have the "Competition Motorsports" forum. Let the race track stories begin! As usual, NO STREET RACING WHATSOEVER.

I also added a "20th Anniversary Meet" forum, and for the sake of keeping the forums clean, I tucked the 15th and 10th meet forums underneath the new forum.

Additionally I closed "Chris' SVX Shop" and tucked it under "Technical Q&A".

The final change I made tonight is the introduction of the "STI" system. STI stands for "Significant Technical Input". This is reserved for members who have contributed to the community in a non financial manner, such as the creation of the 5 Speed Swap, or an abundant amount of technical assistance to others. These members will have a logo under their post count.

The inaugural group of members are as follows:
  • Huck369, inventor of the 5 Speed Swap.
  • LAN aka "longassname", for all ECUTune has offered the community.
  • SVXfiles aka "Old Tom", for various gear swaps and other mods.
  • Stevebsy, for the prototype body panels and front bumper.
  • SVXdc, for the stereo harnesses.
The following three are for technical advice and assistance:
  • Beav
  • Harvey aka "oab_au"
  • Trevor
  • TomsSVX
Here is the Logo:

Now, this is a beta test of sorts, we have hand picked the first eight members to receive this designation. The name and logo for this system are still under consideration, and we are requesting your input on the subject. Any ideas you have for a logo, or a name are welcome as well as support of the current layout.

I'll stand behind STI as the name for the tech support folks. All of the original members have indeed helped just about everyone.

I think because we are so busy with this that it seems like it is busy. I think it is just a slow day.

I would like to nominate YT (Tomssvx) for the STI logo. He has always been there for people.

The Admins and Officers have discussed this, and agreed. I have updated the OP to reflect this.

In the future we will ask for nominations, but it will be up to the forum leadership to finalize any member that should belong to this group.

Again, any and all comments are welcome, and honestly we had expected a bit more feedback on this one.

STI is a great way to recognise individuals.

Perhaps it could be extended a bit to include members who have made other types of contributions as well. eg. Earthworm whose custom made bushings are of note; Mbtoloczko for his work on suspension, turbo & other items; Svxistentialist for his copious input of accurate, detailed information on all aspects of various models of the SVX. There are many more.
