And I don't think 'Fuji' will fly.

So let's have some recommendations.
Why not Fuji? That's going to be the name of my next dog when I get another one.

I recently met a guy from the MN Mitsubishi 300gt club here who named his dog 'Mitsu' so why not Fuji?

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

Yes I like it but will he ? Try it on him. If he likes it he will come when he is called. Mine is Smoochy because he was and is. Like yours he joined us as a stray.

I had a dog ( Ridgeback ) who arrived in my office as a stray in exactly the same way. He gave me and my family much more than the SVX ever could. I miss Luke. He was named by my Sons after Luke Skywalker their hero at the time.

Nice people like animals and animals like them.

Good thing! For a moment there I thought I was just a sucker for stray cats and dogs.

i like animals, but i don't like cats, but they like me.
they must be able to sense that they bother me and i'm allergic to them, because they will come to me first if there are a bunch of people around and rub all over me.

I like David Letterman's suggestion of naming your cat "doggy" and your dog "kitty."

Of course that was one of the answers on his top ten ways you can tell your kid is dumb.
