1992 Radiator

Hello guys I am in a spot of bother! my tale of woe goes as follows, my radiator gave up the ghost on sunday the plastic top has separated from the element I think it has been loseing water for a while and just evaporateing on the hot rad so I am madly searching for a replacement,are there any modded rads out there it would be nice to have one of those great looking all metal rads that you see in the highly modded skylines etc, or do I have to give my money to the great SUBARU beast. at the momemt I am in a VW passat, and thats enough to make anyone pay messers SUBARU ANYTHING THEY WANT!!!!

Hey Chris,

Long time no see. Still working in Hayes? You missed a great day out at Billing this year.

Afraid I can't help regarding a source for your radiator, but we had ours replaced when they did our transmission (in hindsight, we should have just added an aftermarket transmission cooler instead).

IIRC The Subaru dealer ripped us off for about 800 quid to supply and fit a new radiator.

Look earlier down the threads and you will find an SVX being broken in Leicester - when I checked for parts, he seemed a bit expensive tho'

I'm sure you could find something for another car. This guy got a dodge radiator to fit in his svx,you could pm him for what year model it came from then search the net for performance radiators for that.

Hello again guys, thanks for your replies to my woe! I managed to findthrough a mate of minea rad on ebay. The seller says he will ship very soon so I wait with baited breath.Hi phil yes I am still in Hayes, until recently my svx got me there every day with no problems.I will let you guys know how I get on with the rad.
