I have 15 pics of red pit and Dirty Panda's Failings, including the tragedy of losing his bumper to a tow strap, from both last weekend (8/31/08) and this past weekend (9/06/08). Bare with them since they're all from my cell phone... luckily i have the equivalent of a blackberry. cant promise good video quality because i hadnt set it up for larger file creation. I will in the future though.

Due to the weather conditions last Saturday, we are planning on having our actual beach meet this coming weekend. We were going to go last Sunday, but feedback from everyone left us with no choice but to reschedule for this coming weekend.

HOWEVER,

There are some indications that we will again encounter similarly unpleasant weather conditions this coming weekend. I am not entirely certain as to a better solution, other than to, again, play it by ear.

Any ideas?

We're working on the videos, they're a bit larger, I'm going to re-encode them to be a bit more size friendly. They'll be up though.

Great pixs! Great you all salvaged (savaged?) the weekend.

Sat for a regroup on the beach - I'd like to make it. The NOAA site right now says 40% chance of rain, 1/4 -1" possibly, maybe more if thunderstorms. Geeze. Of course it could be beautiful, but with a 3-4 hour drive I need to decide by noon on Friday (to cancel hotel) so I'll watch this and the weather.

Regardless, I'm heading for the Pumpkin Carve!

Ok folks... I am gonna say it because Mike nor Eric will...

The meet is officially canceled. Unfortunate weather both weekends pushes the meet too far back so people cannot schedule 3 weekends in a row to try and make it. Sorry, there will be another one next year
