I don't think so. Everything else you've posted so far still points to either the fan relays or their control circuits as the problem.

My apologies if it sounded as though I was indicating that the engine temp sensor could be causing the fan problem. I was only stating that with the sensor unplugged the fans should turn on. This was merely another case for when the fans should be forced to turn.

To me it also sounds like a relay. Unfortunately I wouldn't know how to test them other than replacement.

replacing relays

that is the only way to check the relay? I know the fans work and the temp sensor unplugged doesn't turn them on... this could be the relay(s)? would people at shucks know how to check these?

It is not easy to teach electrical basics via this thread and this medium. The control circuit is quite involved and will require extensive explanation.

Do you have a simple multimeter and do you know how to use it to measure volts and resistance ? Do you have the wiring diagram on hand ?

uh, dunno

i have the diagram, not the meter...

i was checking my fuses and noticed the A/C fuse was burt out. It wasn't originally when i checked it the first time. but i switched around a couple of the relays so now the fans work. YIPPY!!!
however, i would still like to find out if one of them is blown. if you can't tell me easily, i will try and figure it out when i replace the radiator, or i will have an electrical shop check it out.. I may even have the dealership check it incase i don't do the rad install

i would still like help if it is possible, if not, thank you all very much for helping me

speedy...
one that needs much help

If your problem was a faulty relay the circuit you switched it to will not work and this should enable you to identify the faulty component.

However it could well be that in removing and replacing relays you restored a faulty connection or a sticky relay. Turn everything on and push things about with due care and see if you can locate something still suspect.
