Good News, my Wife is Ill

not too bad though only the 'flu.

What this does mean though is that I am having to do the school runs. This consists of 5 miles each way along a smooth, windy, picturesque and fairly quiet coast road. 20 miles of twisties per day. As I am not allowed out much, this is great fun and a rare novelty.

I could of course take the inland route and get there in about the same time with a 2 mile journey in traffic, but that would be real stupidity.

Unfortunately, Sandra is looking a little better today, so the fun could soon be over.

LOL

Man, I wish that, when my wife got sick, Michigan suddenly sprouted hills and twisty back roads.

Well, okay, as long as I'm wishing for (basically) another glacier to come through and reform the landscape, I might as well wish that my wife not have to get sick at the same time...

I'm glad you were able to make the best of the situation, Andy.

Beautiful.

I just called my wife. We're both leaving work right now and moving tomorrow.

A brilliant link, I hadn't seen that one before.

Check out gallery 3. It is pretty much my school run. (Lucky that the tides are low at the moment!!)

For your info, I live about 100 metres from Vazon Bay, in the shot with the waves, and about 150 metres from Albecq

Oh yeah? Well I live about 100 meters from Carpenter Road and about 2,000 meters from the bar on the corner!

Man...I'd have to say that I am so not in love with Michigan. Andy, I am rather envious - yours looks like a gorgeous place to live.

But what the heck is a '1988 Honda mid-engine?'

I echo that on both counts! In addition, would you pls comment about the climate and access? I take it the ferry is probably common but from where? How about access by commercial air carriers?

I would discribe the climate as 'tepid.' Mild winters, only a couple of frosty nights and significant snow about once every 10 years. Summer temperatures in the low to mid 20's

For access, we have daily air links with most UK airports, plus Amsterdam and Paris. There are also several daily ferrys to England and France.

You might find some of these links interesting

Is it one of these Andy?

Found this and wondered if your mid-engine was one of these.
