Smile 3000 miles - no SVXers

I just ran to Pella, Iowa in one of my SVXes. Went after a 1980 Chevy 3/4 ton 4X4 with a 454 and a turbo 400. It had a frame-off restoration, is perfect and ran back to Montana without a glitch. The pickup is something of a bronc on the highway compared to the SVX but the 454 let it run ahead of traffic any time preferred. In 3000 miles, we didn't see one SVX. Where are you guys? And there was one encounter with a late model Dodge pickup with fancy wheels and "Fear This" stuck on the rear glass. The 454 Chev handled the Dodge with ease. How you doin' Punisher? Come on.

Been there, done that.

Last winter. Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and Iowa. 4500 miles. One SVX - ours. The trip may have been tedious, had we not been driving the only SVX in America (or so it seemed).
