Money no object...
GMC Topkick Extended "cab" so that there are 3 sets of normal opening doors, and then have a dump bed of sorts on the rear. With a high performance Cummins Diesel of course. |

Re: Money no object car you would build
SVX with 6spd and 3.0r or 3.6r and 6 speed, or eg33 with sti internals and twin turbo. probably the first simply because it would get better mileage and weight less.

An S12 WRC Impreza prepped by Prodrive with a full rally crew and a bunch of spare parts. Setups for Tarmac and Gravel rally.

Re: Money no object car you would build
A full tube framed, independent, pushrod suspended, inboard brakes, awd, Mustang II King Cobra. A supercharged 4.0 v6 in it pushing 300+ hp. It would weigh about 2000lb, and be the best handling thing on 4 wheels!

Re: Money no object car you would build
Hmm...tough one. Too many to list.
It would most definitely be an "odd ball" car. Depends on what the uses for it are, either daily driver or project. But I am a sucker for the cars that never got their due diligence (I.E., things like the Fiero, SVX, Impulse RS, etc) Let me ponder on this and post back.

Re: Money no object car you would build
A Subaru GL-10 wagon with an EG33, 5-speed manual, and on-demand 4WD. Might be a tad nose-heavy unless the rear sub-floor storage cubby was filled with lead.

I'd love a 1974 Mazda RX-4 Coupe with the newly developed 16X rotary engine and a six speed manual!
