Is the back window factory tinted?

I was removing a layer of crappy aftermarket tint from my back window tonight when I noticed another layer underneath that is very hard- like it's baked on. It's scraped away in a few places,, but it doesn't peel off like the layer I removed. Is this factory tint maybe?

Factory tint came in either blue, green or bronze depending on the model, years, etc. so possibly?

It should be. I had one of the rear windows broken out of one of mine, and it shattered into a million pieces. If it were a film, that wouldn't have happened.

I looked at it again this morning and it definitely had two layers of aftermarket tint on top of the factory tinted glass. It's no wonder I could hardly see out the back window. The first layer came off with a heat gun & lacquer thinner, but the heat gun didn't have much effect on the second layer.
