sunroof rear guide ASSY part # ?

I don't know if it's my fault, or those people who want to buy my cars, or my SVX itself fault. I don't drive my SVXi a lot. Only fire them up and move them around the lot occasionally. A few blacks live next block to my building once put a note on my teal svx window want to buy my cars. I said no to theirs low-ball offers.

My landlord wants me to move my cars to the others of his property, about 1 mile from my apartment since they are not my dd. I see my SVXi every other day when I pass by that area. One time, a note was placed on my yellow svx windshield and wanted to buy my car. I rejected again for a mechanic's low-ball offer. Today I saw a note again on my yellow svx windshield. It said it's from the previous people live next block to me, they found my cars, still want to buy cars. I never posted anywhere for up-for-sale ads!!!!!!!!

Thanks to member bwb3 and member hondasucks previously posting the pictures!

This was how it happened tonight. Because of that note, I went to start my cars. It'd usually take me almost an hour each to warm up and make sure things as usual and exercising all the buttons.

Maybe it's a bad timing or the plastic pieces get brittle after its age. As our common problem, we need to sometimes help our sunroofs open/close. Maybe I pushed too hard. The passenger-side sunroof was not moving and the driver-side was pulling the other side to move along and at the end the passenger-side won't close totally but with a gap. Something was broken inside. It's cold and almost midnight. After a while, I finally helped my sunroof to close(definitely need help on passenger-side) without having a gap but on the passenger-side rear corner was not hold tight anymore. I put some plastic bag to close it along that edge to prevent if any downpour before I left.

I found some broken plastic pieces on the passenger-side trail. After the FSM diagram, I figured out it's the rear guide assembly. Can we still get this little part separately? But from the previous member posted on the subaruparts.com diagram, it didn't seem you can get this part? If yes, what's the part number? Just wonder.

Re: sunroof rear guide ASSY part # ?

I also have the problem of assisting the sunroof to close. At one point of time I was contemplating the mechanism and it seems that when the plastic pieces between 3, 4 and 5 melts with usage, sunroofs tend to stick before opening/need assistance with that.

Good thing with that thread I remembered I need to fix them, but cannot really remember if it was 3 or 4/5 or both...
