Re: Need Tan Carpet!

I have one in my wrecked Brilliant Red 96 Lsi. It comes with two liter pepsi. No, it did have soda spill on rear passenger side when I got it three years ago. I shampooed it with home Bissell rug shampooer attachment, it did take most not all of the stain out. You wont see it anyway, its right under the rear mat. A New one from subaru is so overpriced its ridiculous, almost $600 I'll take $150 for it if you come get it, and if you help me get the drivers seet out I may discount it some. The driver seat was unintentionally left in the car, and now with no power to move the seat forward, I cant get to rear seat bolts. Im up in CT, about 90 miles north of NYC.

Dan

Re: Need Tan Carpet!

Best way to clean the carpet, is to power wash it. Remove from car and using a power washer will take all the stains out. Ive seen it done, it comes out good as new.

Re: Need Tan Carpet!

Thanks Tom..

I did try to power wash it but it just wont come out. I tried the higher setting and took a slice out of it...and all of the color. I ended up just painting as suggested it looks like crap but its a lighter color crap then cola. I would still like to get a good replacement for it but it can wait at this point, I had to install it this weekend.
