MAF interchangeable between Legacy?(or other model subaru)

well, like the title says, i was wondering if there is any interchangeability between the lgacy or another subaru for the MAF sensor on the SVX.

I bought myself a little more time i think by redoing the solder points on the internals of mine, but instinct tells me its a stop gap, so im trying to get a replacement. Ive seen alot of other subaru, namely legacy, MAF sensors on EBAY.

any info would be greatly appreciated!

AFAIK, only the JECS ones from 90-94 Legacies fit without throwing an Improper Airflow Sensor code. Apparently, you lose a little bottom end of the car with that airflow sensor, but I've never seen this for myself.
