However, I do have custom-made, ultra-micro polishing tips for my lithium-Ion Dremel. This allows me to polish the spaces in between the braiding of my stainless steel brake lines.  Actually, it is a remarkable looking car from the photos. If I was closer to San Rafael, I may have been tempted to look/ test drive. But then it would need that unique "svxcess touch" to set it apart from the rest of the common Polos out there. However, in searching the web, I found only one review of Marin Auto Consignment... and it was NEGATIVE! Read the review HERE Would you buy a car from these guys?  Here is THEIR WEBSITE .

Wonders of Photoshop!! I drove that car last week, and it drove real well, but the finish was fugly, covered with rock chips, as though parked along a rally course half its life. Finding both visors hanging limply in the driver and passenger's face told me the car had not enjoyed the kind of care she deserved either.

I don't think it can compete with John's! The last time I saw it, it may have had a couple of finger prints on it, but not rock chips.

+ mine only has 135,000 kms on the clock!!!

Please... You can see marks on hte carpet, chips in the paint under the hood, etc. John has a nice car, and I find the title of this thread thoroughly offensive! Not to mention, gravel between the tread of the wheels? Have you ever seen John's car? I'm shocked that someone could even compare the two.

I started the thread, and it was not meant to be offensive. I Love John
, hes a great guy, and a true friend. I would never intentionally insult him, plus I drooled over his polo the one time I saw it in person, and wished mine was so clean. I was just amazed to think that there could be someone else out there with a cleaner svx (and a polo) than John, and after all it turns out the photos were photoshopped and the car has many dings in it as reported by a member.

I was just giving you a hard time. Still, unless it was on the showroom floor, and possibly not even then, a car will likely not be as clean as John's, primarily because John has taken measures to go beyond clean. His engine shines, his tires shine(not just the sidwalls, but the bottoms too!), etc. He does a hell of a job, and I'd say anyone would be hardpressed to find a nicer car. Cheers John.
