Would another option be to take the axles apart and swap out the end's?
Of course, them you'd have to do that every time you need axles.... ps... aren't you supposed to be on vacation??

HA!!!!! Quandary solved!
The SVX axles plug beautifully into the 6mt. I will have the car off jackstands tonight. Good thing too because I need them for porschekillers car.

Now I have to get a JDM oil line that runs on the side of the trans. The USDM ones just run in and out while the JDM ones have a fitting in the line to branch off and run to a tra cooler. I am finding out that the 6mt's are apparently hard on their gear oil and a cooler is a good idea. Especially if you are auto-x'ing

So what pressurizes/ promotes the flow of fluid in a manual trans to allow a cooler to work? Heat pipe style cooling maybe
 ?

they have an oil pump silly.
 Bobby, I do need to know what you plan on doing with the axle seals though. They are a smaller diameter with the svx stubs than with the Sti axles. Thats why I told you you had to change them out. You will leak the gear oil all over the placeTom
