ah, you're very welcome sir!

and hopefully once it's all downloaded, then you can perhaps convert it for me? that would be fan-frickin-tastic for my youtube

also for those who hadn't seen it, I posted the download link on my first post of this thread as well back on the first page.

It's h.264, you probably don't have a decoder for it. I already have a way to view h.264 in the mov container (by renaming it to .hdmov and using Media Player Classic along with CoreAVC), so yeah. You just don't have the right codecs installed, as you suspected.

Gr8: I intend to! It should be done by tomorrow.

For the record, that was a pain in the ass. The guy who posted the how-to skipped a rather important step, and made a few errors in the code. But that's okay, I fixed it, and now I have the file ready to go!

Sending a PM with the link as soon as it's done uploading.

And I have another neat little gift. This time, it's a more bandwidth-friendly version of the downloadable file. This one's stats are:

Container: AVI
Video: XviD 512x384 1500 kbps
Audio: MP3 192 kbps 44.1 KHz
Filesize: 35 MB

http://www.sendspace.com/file/a6xat6

Have fun.
