Sony has a faster processer, but is thicker. The keys on the Sony are flatter and more prone for error. However the fans on the Sony are quieter.

The OQO as a much better docking station than the Sony. The docking station is foldable and has a built in cd/dvd player. Sony has yet to release a optical drive for it. The OQO has a additional battery options coupled with a separate charger. Sony has none. The OQO had some specialy protective cases made for transport protection, Sony has none. All in all, just more options and accessories. Oh I also like the option for having tablet pc software on it.

Oh yeah sony's memory isn't upgradeable (max 512mb). Sony also comes with a bunch of bullcrap preloaded applications that I would remove.

Oh yeah, and if you look at the OQO it has a mouse built into the keyboard interface. Sony doesn't and there's a number pad on the OQO. Like my pda/phone, the numbers located on the top row of the keyboard like a conventional one blows chunks.

i'm cheap...but i'll buy one.

Ouch. 1849 for the top end one? No thanks. My laptop will do just fine.

Key words or feature active digitizer, the OQO Model 2 has it the Sony UX180 doesn't.
