well it didn't go so well. We had it driving yesterday... but with a nasty ehxaust leak... Tried to hack back into it today and well.... yeah... WE were both kicking ourselves at the end of the day. Anyway it is still in the garage and I should be able to wrap it up tomorrow... It is a SICK looking Z though, perfectly clean body minus some scratches on the rear bumper... he picked it up in CT for 3k with a dead motor... It was already fully modded with a true dual mandrel Borla exhaust, jim Wolfe ECU, twin blow-off's(RICE), intake, and boost jets. This thing is gonna scream I may just have to get one now too

boost jets are simply regulators... they are like a mig welding tip, it contstrains the amount of pressure that can flow through it, allowing for good down low power and great top end.

On a brighter note. The car finally got put back together after we found an EGT probe bung that we somehow missed(that might cause an exhaust leak ) It runs like a raped ape but it hits 17psi and is setting off the knock sensors and cutting timing. He needs to replace the boost solenoid before he can go racing it.

Tom,

See you Sunday around 11:00 AM.

Why did Congress pick 3/11/07 for Daylight Savings Time?

Silver is back up and running with newer pedals... The last ones were my first set of "Higher" pedals and I really didn't have the right tools to be doing it and F'ed them up. the new pedals are nice and easy now with no annoying squeaks when using them So, I will be driving it tomorrow Esp. if someone can help me get my summer wheels down out of the rafters.
