SPECIAL LEASE OFFER* ON 06 SUBARU IMPREZA 2.5i SEDAN with manual transmission.
Now through September 5, 2006 - $169 per month for 48 months with $1,294 due at lease signing. $0 refundable security deposit. Tax, title, and registration fees extra. Other leases available on other models.

I already put down 300 for them to hold a car for me

With taxes and everything worked out..I have to walk in there with 1300 in hand....and 199 a month. I asked them to include 12k miles a yr since the deal was only for 10k. I might even have to ask them to make it 15k miles a year because of how much I drive. I should be getting an 06 black Impreza 2.5i 5 spd. They only had a silver, black and regal blue left. I originally wanted aspen white....but they didn't have any. So i took black..to hide the grill

How much extra do you think my monthly payment would be if I asked for 15k miles a yr ?

i don't know as i've never had a lease. i drive about 30k miles per year, so if i entered this lease, i'd just make the committment to buy it at the end.

Lease

Hi Noob, Before you "Lease" check the interest rate you are being charged. You might be better off getting a loan at a CU or bank. also check what the price of the car is. Its very easy to get blinded by what looks like a low cost per month and end up paying to much for both the car and the loan/money. Take care and enjoy your new ride. BOBB

Ken, the Legacy was that bad? Alan likes his. I would think the Impreza was to small. I really like having a pick up.

there were things that really irked me about the legacy, but it was a good car. i intensely disliked the automatic climate control system and the seats were the most uncomfortable of any car i've ever owned, but it had more power than i could possibly need (need, not want). i traded it in mostly because hubby and i were having some problems last year and i thought i needed to eliminate some expenses like a $600-a-month car payment. i did miss my awd last winter. neither elantra even has the abs/tcs option.

i hated the seats, too, until i got those Wet Okole seat covers. they added the bit of comfort and grip that was missing.
meh on the climate control. i'm picky on my temp, so i usually blast the AC or heat until i'm comfortable, and then i turn the fan down to its lowest setting - it never gets used in automatic mode.

i like the dash layout, but don't like the fact there isn't any room to mount my iPod on the dash within easy reach. its in an extendo-dock sticking out of the plug in the ashtray. i'd prefer to have it more stealth, but its the only way to keep it easy to see and reach. that's my (minor) gripe.

i'd also like fold down rear seats, a JDM rear wiper, and some raw furry scoops.

my beef was the lack on cold a/c while in defrost mode. that and having to take my eyes off the road twice as long to adjust the passenger temperature as well as my own.

agreed!

i liked the 12v in teh center console, but my best solution was attaching the iPod to the parking brake with a zip tie. and i was using an iTrip on top of that.
