measurement query

Greetings SVX people around the world.
I have been visiting this forum for a few years but I have only just registered and this is my first post. Unfortunately I don't own an SVX but I do have a bunch of Subarus (mostly pick-ups) and owned a Liberty and a few L series.
I do have an SVX dilema though.... I am using the running gear for an offroading project and I have acquired all the suspension, motor and drivetrain but I am having difficulty finding info about original dimensions.
Basically I need the distance between the two front strut tops (centre of strut top to centre of strut top) and the front wheel track (centre of tyre to centre of tyre) unless someone knows the WMS-WMS (wheel mounting surface) distance.
I have seached and read a lot of posts but I've found it's not something the average SVX owner talks about much.
And I would have posted this in the tech section but I figured my first post should probably be in here.

Gid'ay Mate.

Were abouts in Aus, are you? the project sounds interesting, is the engine front mounted?

I would have the info in the WSM, I'll have a look.

Harvey.

The front track is 1500mm, the distance between the strut tops is 1050mm.

Welcome to the site man.

Sounds interesting. Are you going to give it turbo power, or set it up NA first?

Thanks for the measurements. 1500mm is the same track as the current Liberty. I thought the SVX would have been wider.
My offroader has the standard Subaru drivetrain layout with the engine at the front.
And I live in FNQ but WTF is the WSM?

svxistentialist
n/a for the time being. I am after low end torque rather than high hp.

WSM = Workshop Manual

I figured so. Traction is what you want I expect. Let us know how you get on with it.
