SVX runs BAD when cold - fine when warm
When it's cold and I drive her around it almost feels like I'm on the gas, then off the gas, then on the gas, then off the gas ...feels almost jerky like. Not a lot, but definitely noticeable. When the car has warmed up it is completely gone and drives perfectly fine.
So what gives? Where to start?

Did you rewire the torque control on the ECU when you did your 5 speed conversion?

mine does that to, it almost seems lioke its cutting fuel or timing is off or something, i'd like to know as well

When my car is stone-cold, there is some slight hesitation during the first or second acceleration from a stop, but otherwise, nothing like what you said.
Did you change the exhaust system? Any chance there is an air leak somewhere in the intake?

I have the exact same problem. But it seems to be getting worse, but its also been getting colder so it may have to do with temps more than anything.

I was thinking maybe it's coming from the exhaust system. My car has some leaks that I just can't afford to fix right now and I think needs cats. There's no rotten egg smell, but I removed all the heat shields and there's still something rattling. So I think the insides of the cats maybe have deterorated.
Like I said - the hesitation is hardly noticable ...but it's definitely there when cold.

it is normal.... you should be allowing the car to warm up anyway
