Okay, you've played "coy" long enough. Why else would you come to a site entitled "SVX WORLD NETWORK" and ask for US to help you choose between a Jeep and an SVX??

We know you just wanted reinforcement. You have it . . . in spades!! With our blessing: Go forth and buy ye your SVX and be ye happy in it! Amen!

it's a sign from above...

i open up today's classifieds...and what do i find? in the auto finder section where all the dealers list their inventory...i see the svx i'm currently negotiating for!! and to my surprise they listed it at $3995...i think the guy who writes up their classifieds forgot to check if it had a buyer on it. well, their loss, my gain...i'm going in tomorrow and sticking it to them. like i said...sign from above to buy the car! i think i'm going to have to find some sleeping pills so i can fall asleep tonight...i'm going to be up all night quivering with excitement

Question

WHO/WHAT/WHEN/WHY says you NEED a tranny flush? Did someone sniff the dipstick & decide it'd smell a lot better with new fluid? Be VERRRY careful with this one.
Ron.

Sign, sign, everywhere a sign, blocking out the scenery, breakin' my mind. Do this, don't do that, can you read the signs!

Sorry, I just had to sing (and also implant a song in people's heads. I'm good at that.)

When I was looking at my car, I actually asked for a sign. At that moment, a shooting star went across the sky. I thought, "oooo, freaky." And, I just shrugged it off. The next morning, driving to work, I turned on NPR -- I hardly ever listen to NPR. Whoever was on began talking astronomy. They began to talk in depth about the star cluster "Pleiades" (the stars that make up the Subaru logo). Okay, that was almost enough to put me over the top -- that was "the sign" I was looking for. BUT, to finish it off, they actually mentioned the fact that the Pleiades was the star cluster that represented the Subaru logo -- they actually SAID Subaru . . . on NPR. I made the deal that afternoon.

Of course they didn't mention the cluster 'FlatusBrokus', the sign of an empty wallet...

Nor, the cluster F***. Which is formed when someone puts a Legacy Transmission into an SVX.

I guess my insensitivity stems from the fact that I've never been without any of my cars. At least I come by it honestly....

When i bought my car it had horrible tires and front brakes. I got them to knock 1000 off and made them replace tires brakes and rotors. you should try the same

I think I may have posted this in another thread (memory's failing, either old age or SVX deprivation), but, the most I'd been without one of my cars in 30 years was four days. That was somewhat understandable, since it was a Peugeot, not to mention it was a Peugeot in Kentucky, and, especially since I bought it just before Peugeot moved out of the USA. That's why I can't understand why this is taking so bloody long. AAARRRGGGHHHH!
