5 speed swap

Hi,

Does anyone know of someone in the UK performing the automatic to manual transmission conversion?

Just curious really...

Hi Lazarus,

I haven't heard of anybody doing this commercially, but there are at least two owners here who have done it themselves. I think they might both be coming to the JAE this year.

Phil.

Have a look at this US website, and you can see what is required to do the conversion.

The small car kit pretty much sucks. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

5 speed

hi Lazarus. I am currently having my 92 Svx converted to a manual wrx box. It is with a guy who works mainly on Imprezas but will tackle anything. ive had work done by him in the past and am convinced he will do a great job. Using my car as a test bed really cos Im sure if it is successful he will get a steady stream of people queuing up to have the conversion carried out. Regards Pete

Hi,

Long time no visit.

I was wondering if you had made any progress on your swap project?

Laz.
