Alarm & Remote Locks Disconnected

When I bought my SVX a couple of weeks ago the owner told me they had the security system and remote locks disconnected because the battery was going dead. I would like to hook them up and see if the problem still exists. I can push the security button on the dash and it doesn't seem to work. Where would I find a module or something for this system that I can reconnect?

In some older posts, there's lots of discussion re: the alarm box. In the 92 it appears to be behind the glove box. Problem is - the glove box is built like a tank (i'm afraid to take mine out!). I suggest a search of alarm and maybe glove box - you'll find some info.
