Ya'll should see the peoples around here

Yeah, so since central florida is supposed to be wiped off the map this weekend by 'hurricane' charlie....people here are freaking. Let me remind you that i'm in dead central florida, 70 miles to either coast. Every place in town is completely out of batteries, and bottles water. As well as almost out of canned food and candles. I personally thing its funny. I figure that if it gets too bad, i'll wrap my SVX in camo duct tape, that way the wind can't see it since it will be blended in with the environment, and it will just blow around the car

That reminds me of how every time there is potential blizzard in eastern PA (where i grew up), the stores sell out of bread and milk and stuff like that. Give me a break! It's snow, get over it.

Need I remind you that the SVX to some people is dubbed as "Superb Vehicle Xtraordinary" and that with all of it's 3600 LBS curb weight that the storm won't touch or hurt it at all

yeah, that's my theory, my car weighs enough i don't have to worry about it. I'm going to pull it right next to the side of the house though, considering right now its sitting in front of a power pole and a tree.

i think this storm is great. Everyone is freaking, i'm just going to sit in front of the bay windows reading my book and enjoy the storm. I have batteries in my digi cam just in case i see any funnel clouds and what not, i want pics!!!

If I had my SVX I'd drive down to see the storm, lets see, 3000 miles at 160mph

you better let me know when you're making that drive!! lol. You can do it, it will only take you....it will only take you 18 hours and 45 minutes. That means no pit stops, so bring a bottle to tinkle in and tow a gas truck with ya!! you'll make it no prob!!

2 problems, (1) at those speeds the SVX will probably get 10MPG, my '88325is got 8 at 135, but a high CD and tall gears, so I'll need 300 gallons... (2) the motorola shoots at 299,792,458 meters/second

I should be able to get 400 gallons stuffed in the car and a lil pee tube that goes out the back, I'll need one of those $25 electric superchargers from ebay to boost HP, and an old racers trick, I'll need to tape up all the cracks at doors, hood, grille, ect. and put sideskirts that touch the ground on with a similar front spoiler, then I get rear wheel spacers to bring them flush with the body, and baby moon hubcaps. Did I miss anything???

you're on crack, if you're gonna drive 3000 miles at 160 mph you have to do it with the windows down and the sunroof open!! come on now, i thought you knew better than that! oh and you know that using a cell phone while you drive boots your top speed by 20 mph!! so you'll make it here almost 3 hours sooner!
