Isn't the fuse for the power seat the same as the one for the roof? And I swear one other item was on the same circuit...

I've got the fuse chart right in front of me (from the owner's manual). There isn't a fuse listed for the moonroof either.

Perhaps there's a relay. I don't have my FSM's with me at work, but, I'll see if I can't pull them out tonight and check the circuit.

You have checked to make sure the wiring is intact, right? First thing to check is the connector under the seat. Is the motor running at all? If so, you might check to make sure nothing is wedged (like a water bottle -- experience speaking ) under the seat, preventing it from moving.

At any rate, I'll try to take a look at the circuit tonight and report back to you.

I just did a search and it saw more than one suggestion that fuse #15 (I think that was it) covered the roof, the power seat and the windows. There is also apparently a relay for the power seat underneath it.

Interesting. According the the fuse diagram, fuse #15 is a 10 amp fuse for "Meter."

Okay, here's the diagram from the FSM. It doesn't list a fuse, but shows a relay (but doesn't show a position for the relay in the "relay list." We can only suppose it's under the seat.) The relay would be black and have four wires running to it. Colors of the wires are Red, Green, Red/Green and Grey/White.

Sorry, but that's about as much help as I can be.

I am sure nothing is jaming it, I was underneath the seat for a while tring to find the bolts that hold it in. The sunroof dosent work and it used to. So maybe a fuse is connected with that. It dosent seem to be getting any power at all because it dosent want to move when i push while puhing the button to move it, and its not making any noise at all.

Well, in that case, I'd suggest (yeah, I know it's a pain in the butt), pulling fuses, one at a time and checking them to see if they're blown. May be the only way to trace it. Of course, once you find it, and IF it blows again, you'll need to trace the cause of the short. Search for bare wires while your poking 'round under the seat. Pray it's not a "fusible link" somewhere in the wiring. Those buggers are a "witch" to find.

EDIT: As Nick said, check fuse #15 FIRST. According to the wiring diagram for the Sunroof, it's on fuse 15 . . . along with a whole bunch of other stuff: Many of your warning lights, vehicle speed sensor #2, power window relay . . . sheesh, and it's only a 10 amp fuse. Good grief!

Fuse for power seat

Hello

The fuse for the seat is SBF1, 30 ampere, it is the same as for power window.
It is in the engine compartment, according to my wiring diagram for EU, (can be different from US spec) The power window circuit breaker, placed somewhere underneath the seat, a kind of fuse is between FS1 and the power seat relay. Cord color are black/white and yellow.
It means you shuld have 12 v at the read cord at the relay if all is ok.

Lars

Fuse 15 is in the panel in the driver's footwell. Stick your head in the floorboard and look up and to the left.
