It would seem that Uncamitzi left and took the thread he started with him:

OK... I'm checking in and

Hey, I never said those were my underwear preferences, just a thong-alternative!

-Thats me right now. I loved that thread. It was definitely so much fun. It seems to be a sad trend I'm seeing now. A nice group gets ruined by a few too many stupid upstarts that are pissed about their lives for some reason or another that come in and start things with the older members, and drive the others away with their attitudes. Its the decay of society, finding its way onto the internet.

I'm sorry if you can't find fun in things like this Rob.

Well.... I did it.

I'm still going to lurk and use the Tech section, but I got really tired of the BS being thrown and the lack of respect being shown to anybody but the loud mouth opinionated newbies. It wasn't an attack on me that caused this. It was the tone of some of the newly registered members. It's global, not just here on this board. (And I was a little depressed, lonely and drunk last night)
Respect should be earned by example (and admittedly getting drunk and depressed and deleting a thread isn't a good one). There are some fine people here, and maybe when I get the urge to sort through some of the obnoxious bull **** being tossed out by the few, I'll come back to have some fun. If you liked the Hijack thread... start your own! It was fun at the beginning and in the middle... until the "not exactly" forum was started (for me at least). I saw a change in the board that I didn't like. It’s my opinion. I’m not trying to change anyone’s, I’m just stating my own. To the statement that I can chose to ignore anyone I care to… I say, “ I have.” But the list was growing to “fast and furious” so… as some have in the past… I’ll be taking a little break from the class. If someone still cares to follow up with the Reno meet. I’ll give them the info that I have on the
Car Museum.

Ta Ta for now…

Unhappy

Mitch! I just read your other post and now I'm sad and lonely and going to get drunk! I haven't been as active lately but whenever I checked in I never saw you post anywhere. Also I sent out an invite to join my new SVX club (using my alter ego) and never heard back. Good to hear you are still alive at least. Don't blame you for your feelings though, there are many that have done the same thing. More than most of us know because they have just quietly slipped through the cracks and disappeared. sigh.......

Now to lighten the mood: I am still baffled by how you can delete threads and I can't!!!! I know you always threatened to delete the hijack thread and claimed you had deleted others, but in all my efforts I've never been able to delete a thread I've started damn it! I've ever asked the moderators before why this is! I'm pissed off! How come restrictions are being put on me and not on others? As Wayne Campbell said, "I'm being **** on, that's all, **** on!!!" I've put in my time here, I was on the Yahoo boards before this site was even a twinkle in Chris' eye. I was driving an SVX around while 95% of the members here were still in Honda and Toyotas! And I have always posted with great respect and by the rules. Not any more, now I am going to say **** and ass cause I know they are about the harshest words that get past the censor software!

Okay, that was all just in good fun, but seriously don't know why I can't delete a thread when others can.

Don't feel bad. I can't either. I can't even delete my own posts any more.

Ha! Randy delete one of his own posts? As if!!! You don't break 9K by deleting posts my friend!

I reckon we've just got some glitches here and there in the software. Or, maybe there really is a conspiracy against all the old officers.

Day-uhm, Mitch. I was at over 9,500 posts 'til you took away the thread, now, I gotta work that much harder to hang in here 'til I hit 10K. I was gonna hit 10K and quit. Now, it's gonna be a while.

So... I go over to the Tech section and...

There's a bloody flame war over there too!!! Somebody should do something if you guys want this forum to live... If you keep letting the Assh0les scream and yell and stink up this board it will go the way of the yahoo board without the help of the Ads! As most of the people that are fanning the flames are on my ignore list (which went from one to twenty pretty damn quick) I'm not even sure what they are yelling about. I even missed what ever got porter and trevor at each other's throat. as one of them got on my ignore list early (it wasn't trevor....) The good natured ribbing and pun fests are a thing of the past (kind of like Camelot) and I guess will never be seen again except in our fond memories... that makes me sad....

Cheer up, Mitch. If I can survive in this new ghetto of a neighborhood, so can you. Eventually all the hoodz will have blown each other away, leaving the Camel-lot intact for deeper, more profound discussions; like who can create the most tunes with armpit farts.

Ron (I broke my arm on Flight of the Bumblebee).

I have my reasons for being glad that it's gone. The main one being that when the 'hijack' thread is 'growing' members don't post as much in other forums, and there's less knowledge spread around to be gained. It was like a vacuum for good intelligent posts.

Rob.......riiiiiiight.......thats what it did........

and Mitch, I see exactly what you are saying. It is happening over at the other message board I frequent. 2 years ago, the Off Topic(the analog to this section) section was fun, there were a lot of good threads, but now that the board has grown so much, its pretty much a wasteland because the mods have to keep on top of it. There are so many n00bs that like starting arguments, etc.

It really all just sucks.

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.
