Post Who challenges you?

Just wondering what kind of fools roll up to you.
Mostly civics and other small engine vehicles call me out, trucks try to to outrun me. the big dawgs i want usually run away.

Whats funny, I have driving an SUV now for the past 1yr solid, and I tell you, Since i picked up my SVX, I have all kind of cars coming to want to race.

Like today driving to work I had one of those RX7's newer body, its amazing how racy they get just looking at our wonderful SVX I take that as a complement IMO.

It is so funny as well. when people come up to your car looking wondering what the F it is specially at night.

Well so far I really have only raced one, it was my nefews ricey Civic. Lets just say, my SVX ate it for lunch, and have enough for a large dessert. I have a big list of mechnical things i need to work out before i start pushing my wonderful svx.

Well sorry to bore you all LOL. ttyl

Maybe I live in the wrong state.. But no one really tries to race me. I have raced a Honda in the year I've owned my X.

I'm a little bummed about it, but it's ok. I don't want to push the X until I get a few things done to it.

Eclipes

I only had one person really try to challange me. I was pulling into McD's for some dinner on the way home a couple weeks ago. This McD happens to be the Ricer hang out at night. I was there early, so I wasnt expecting anything. I pulled in with the windows down and some kid yells over at me as I go by ask'n me If I wanta race his Eclipes.

I must look like an off-duty cop or maybe I'm just oblivious (probably better chance at the latter)

My wife used to get challenged in our old MR2 turbo all the time, and has a couple of times in the SVX, but I never have been in either.

i usually got challenged by ricers...male drivers in their 20's....they were too busy eyeing up the competition...light turned green and i was gone...but then again, i only go to 5 over the speed limit...getting a ticket isn't worth beating out some rice

haha. good posts.
we all have something else in common then.
the faster cars are either too snooty or too scared to roll up to the svx.

granted, rob, your civic friend had an engine swap, i respect no honda. you should have wasted him at 80. i took out a turboed gsx at 80.

moment of truth today.
me, the sentra, and edgos 2wd turbo stealth are 'supposed to go to the track tomorrow.
knowing edgo hes very unreliable and disappoints me often.
but i still hope to get you mugs a track time by the end of saturday. tonite will decide if we go. chances are pretty good.

and in all actuality, every car imaginable on alaskan roads has challenged me and lost, minus that srt4 when my x was sick.

Five over

Hi Kelli, I have always driven five over also but lately a trip I take every week ,on the E-way, The drivers are running 85/90. So I bumped it up also. I told my wife about Rob running 135 mph at night. She said ,it was daylight, go ahead and do it. So you see we have two nutters in Michigan.Take care, BOBB

Let's see. When my wife drove the car, she raced a '91 Camry wagon - me (beat the snot out of it). She never mentioned any other. She got lotsa looks though.

I, on the other hand, look a lot less attractive than her, probably like an old codger that doesn't remember what the word 'race' means. I've raced an '02 Volvo - her (it was a much closer race than I expected, or liked).

freak snowstorm yesterday. no race. no contact with edgo.
@#$%.
what IS official is that srt4 boy wants to join THD. i guess i have to respect them now, at least a lil.

almost raced a vette in the rain yesterday. we were foolin around but when we hit a light at the front of the pack he lightly accellerated then turned off somewhere. oh well. i would have wasted him in those conditions.
