Well either way, that brake kit looks just damn evil!!! Is there anything we can do about the Rear Brakes to kinda even out the sexyness???

the problem Is
overall cost...
Ive sold 2 kits for the fronts only in a yr so the demand is pretty low right now.. Plus it stops so well now It would really be overkill... I probably will do the rear before Dec, should be easier too, just to "do it" and have a "kit form" ready to sell

says in this article that the SVX stops from 60-0 in 114 ft... so, looks like you're already there. i'm not sure what model they uses, whether it was the AWD or FWD, i do know that it was a 94. I would think that they would use the awd but thats purely a guess

I remember seeing that article... If I remember correctly, it was an AWD LSi model that they tested.
114ft is exceptional! -Chike Quote:

Thats down there with the Porsches, but i dought our brakes could hold as much heat as many Porsches brakes can.

with this kit you could probably stop from 100 within 160 ft which would be crazy... i'd like to see some info though, just to see how fast you can stop this car...

This brake upgrade would make my non-ABS FWD SVX lock up the tires real quick-like.

May even take a video of it. But it will be on almost new Cooper Mastercraft tires and 18" wheels.

What do ya think about Kuhmo Supra 712's Dayle?? I've never used Kuhmo's before till now... I kinda like them but would probably go to Brigestone Potenza's or Falken Azenis ST115's the next time I get tires...

The best tires I had on my car was a set of Bridgestone Expedia S-01's. They were great, but wore away in 25k miles. They would never squeal around a corner, only hop when i took one too hard. The Ecsta Supras squeal all the time and are quite easy to break loose in the wet.

to be brutally honest with you

they suck. Ride is harsh, handling sucks, and road noise is horrible. If you want round black things on your rims that roll and dont care about anything else, then they would be okay. Almost anything would be better, the Falkens tend to be heavier then most tires so keep that in mind. I like some Toyos, Nittos and Contis
