VWRX Select Monitor software issue

Has anyone gotten the VWRX Select Monitor Software at http://www.vwrx.com/ to work under Windows 10? We have verified our adapter (based on the adapter of Michael Emery (Longassname)" works. We tested the adapter by running JECScan (Windows) and also testing the FTDI virtual com port with MS Store Com Port Assistant.

We aliased the 2400 baud com port speed to 1953 baud as FTDI specifies and verified that works OK. (process test port with Com Port Assistant at 1953 -OK; test with UN-aliased 2400 fail; mod FTDI port inf file to alias 2400 setting in Windows to 1953 baud and get Win 10 to accept the now unsigned inf file -OK)

Run VWRX Select Monitor with the aliased 2400 baud setting (1953 actual) and get no data nor ROM identified. JECScan gets good data and ROM ID with the same settings. We want to use VWRX Select Monitor to make use of the virtual gauges it features. It will be run on our CarPC Mk2.

Not familiar with that software, but have you tried running in compatibility mode (if that is still a thing?) I would also suggest having a VM running an older version if it does not work with Windows 10.
