I stand corrected - there IS appropriate punishment.

Cut off their eyelids and sit 'em in front of endless reruns of Oprah. Or Friends. Or Allie McBeal.

I cannot believe something like that comes out so soon. What a bunch of idiots! It's people like that that help me appreciate the good people! Like yourselves...

The horror is over for many but is still just begining for the surviving victims and the surviving family members and friends. Let's keep them in our thoughts.

I would be outraged if you could file a complaint with the BBB for simply being offended by somebody's product.
Exactly. I don't really like it, and sure it offends people, but you might as well force women to wear clothing that covers their whole body, as well as a veil for their face, since I'm sure there's a few conservative people out there who would be offended by pornography, or even just a woman wearing a bikini at a beach.

When it comes to interogating these scumbags, nothing will make them talk better than a hot soldering iron to the sphincter.

Did I just say that?

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

Well, I'm sure it will all be blamed on video games and how realistic they have become, then, after the press makes that point, or while they are making that point, the two killers attourneys will plead that they are insane and need to be sent to an institution. Years later they will be released onto the streets again, getting off virtually free.

It'll be interesting to see if and how the US military gets blamed for this - grooming a serial killer, not recognizing this bad seed and releasing him to roam the streets and murder, etc.

There are so many good people and institutions that have suffered and will suffer in the future under the burden of this sociopath's insanity.

That ridiculous 'connection' has already been made by the press. The article I read was from Gannett and it was nothing short of sensationalist, piss-poor journalism.

Really, their sources included a woman in a Yahoo! chat room on parenting and a guy who has a video games news site that hasn't been updated since August 2001.

If anything turns me into a violent person, it's going to be another person suggesting that video games make people violent.
