Re: My latest project (tomsvx style intake)

Again,

I am interested in this piece as well. If you do make it with exactly those dimensions you mentioned above (Two 2.5" pipes immediately before the throttle bodies that merge quickly to a 3" pipe), could you make one for me for a price? This design is what I mentioned in the 'Intake Idea' thread but I did not (And still don't) have the skills to make it.

I'd like to test this out personally at the dragstrip (My SVX AWD does not like they dyno anymore). It probably would not be a conclusive/same-day change of the intake at the dragstrip. I do not have the same patience or urgency anymore. Not even sure if I'd share my results...hehe. It's personal but I'd love to have one if only to add to an SVX museum of special parts. I'd whip it out 15yrs from now to some newer enthusiasts to have them OOOOhhh and Ahhh over the intakes.

Sure, I could do that. I won't lie, I'm in no hurry to do it, lol, but if I find myself with some freetime some weekend, I'll gladly weld something up and let you know. It would actually be a lot LESS welding with a setup like that. This one took a while!

Re: My latest project (tomsvx style intake)

Curious if you ever made that intake, and if so how it did on the track?
Also what would an intake similar to yours cost to make? I do not have the tools nor the skills to make one but very interested.
