Voltage Stabilizer?

Does anyone believe in Voltage Stabilizers?

Are really they helpful to cars? How do you rate them?

A device like this:

Are they really helpful?

Some say yes some say no. Voltage stabilizers are better for home-use.

Opinions?

I can not see where the advertising blurb states that voltage is stabilised. Even if it was, why, for what, how? The voltage is already stabilised when the engine is running and the alternator charging. All automotive equipment is designed with this in mind. N.B. A major feature is stylish appearance. Nothing else is specifically stated.

Read my signature as confirmation of my OPINION.

Re: Voltage Stabilizer?

This is just a guess, but I would say it is just to sell... not to use for any useful purpose.

It is just physically too small to constitute the required capacity.

Re: Voltage Stabilizer?

yeah, some pple said the capacitors inside are too small
to have any help.
that's why i asked, if it helps, how do you rate them?
a friend of mine who works at the car stereo shop told me,
it'd help some. the headlights would be brighter and etc.
maybe the car may accelerate smoother too. it'd help especially
for the older cars and smaller engines.
another friend(his dad's a retired mechanic) who told me,
it won't be helpful because the voltage's already stabilized
from the alternator. this is more useful at home current.

so i don't know and trying to get some opinions.
lol maybe i shouldn't waste my money even though
that's 30 days money back guarantee. the shipping is
on yours if you ship it back.
