Moonroof only available on 96 and 97?
Somehow I was under the impression that there were SVXs out there dating all the way back to the 92 model which had the moonroof and not just the sunroof.
For the older ones, is it the same assembly and could one just easily swap out the sunroof for the glass moonroof in it's place? *and sources?* I didn't see any topics mentioned about the sunroof/moonroof job doing a search but apparently my searching capabilities suck royally and return lots of non-related stuff. Thanks...

The only SVX ive seen with a glass one... was put in aftermarket. And it didnt slide back, it only tilted up. As far as I know, they only came with solid ones.

My 94
My 94 that I owned for years and many miles had the glass moonroof. It was dealer installed. It is not quite as big as the sun roof but also opened up and back like the stocker. I loved it but it tended to try to lift slightly when closed at speeds approaching 130 mph.
 Did I say that??  My 16 year old granddaughter drives it now.  Lee

No SVX came with a glass sunroof from the factory....but it has been said that a glas one from an impreza was a direct swap into the SVX.....but I've never seen it done...

I have all the usdm brochures and 1 jdm accessories. None of them have moonroofs.

I think some people call a sun roof a moon roof and don't really know the difference.
