Just checked my mail. Foreclosure

I knew it was coming, but kinda was hoping it wouldn't happen but now it will. I got the foreclosure notice. I lost my job in april and have been trying to get a job, but so far no luck. I am a law graduate, so if I apply for any job I am too qualified and if I apply for a paralegal position, I am underqualified(meaning not much experience). I am hoping to sit the bar in january but as I am not employed I tried my hand at starting my own online business. No handouts but if you guys like downloading stuff, perhaps you can do it through me. Might help me stop the foreclosure on my condo. I am not asking for freebies, just that if you download stuff like that I can give you links, make some money and get back on my feet. If you guys are interested, let me know so that I can put the links here. Thanks.

Look at the mirror if you are an ass first.

For what you said, I won't do it through you...

PS: what I meant was why is this in the technical Q & A forum?

I've been down that road myself. Until the forclosure sale itself there's STILL time to fix this. What can you sell/borrow against to come up with the funds? Can your mortgage co. put you on a "repayment plan"?
You have options, call the mortgage co & find out what they are.

Da Maserati has gots ta go. don't imagine it would be very fun to sleep in.
The situation sucks man, and I am sure people want to help, but I think that in Pavlovs heirarchy of needs, shelter is like #2 or #3, while owning a Maserati is kinda down there. #7 I think... Yup, #7

If these are all paid for, see if you can get a loan using the titles as security.

In the meantime, there are always minumum wage jobs you can get, and do the internet thing on the side. Let us know what you have to offer.

+1 Great advice Di! If his cars are paid off - he should sell them or at least get a loan guaranteed by his car titles.

There's definitely work out there. When I lost my job at the start of last summer, I did landscape work (i.e. cutting grass, trimming hedges, etc) for a friend of mine for 40-50hrs per week -- this was in the middle of a very hot summer!! I'm a 4 year college grad with a degree in Philosophy, and I saw no work as being beneath me. The landscape work, kept my mortgage paid and food on the table until my dream job presented itself (I'm in the Medical Research field now).

Life is tough, but if you're tougher, you'll survive and stay ahead.
