The Party's Over
Unfortunately, after owning my 92 SVX LSL for over 11 years, I had to let her go. She just needed too much work, and I kind of lost interest over the past few years due to lack of aftermarket replacement parts, and the cost of OEM new parts. I felt as though any money I put in to the car, I wouldn't be able to recoup at sale time.
My friend is an auto wholesaler, and he picked up my replacement vehicle which is a 2004 Crossfire with 20,000 miles. I must say, that it is a pretty sweet ride. It turns heads everywhere I go, just like the SVX did. I also like the fact that you don't see too many of them around, which is also why I liked the SVX. I am still going to frequent this board, as I will always have an interest in the SVX community. Who knows, if the timing is right, I still may acquire another SVX in the future. I'll post some digital pix when I get the chance. Best Wishes to All, Mike

Mike I noticed that ALL SVX'ers say 1 of these 2 similar phrases: 1. "I need my SVX fix." (when they haven't driven it for awhile) 2. "I need my SVX fixed." (when it must go to the shop for repairs) |

Wow! Sorry about your SVX, but the Crossfire is way cool.
I think I've been so incredibly spoiled by having a car that always turns heads (especially with my color!), I can't find many other cars that I would feel the same in... the Crossfire is one. Maybe I'll get one someday and paint it copper too!
