Not the VR-4.
An N/A you can crush, Supra will give you a good run and a 300ZX any N/A car like that. But since the VR-4 is spoolin a turbo, count on him leading with about 4in half cars ahead.
Unless....... you have a turbo

Actually I heard that an SVX can go toe to toe with a VR4 on the track consider the SVX can out handle (dunno if they meant only JDM) and at least the 1992-94 models weight about 300lbs less then the Mitsubishi GTO, as it is called in Japan and Australia.

Also, consider the sort of mountain racing they do in Initial D usually don't have the cars plowing at full speed with the outcome varying quite a bit considering they're quite long. So an uphill race with a Mitsubishi GTO and a Subaru Alcyone SVX (ecspecially S4) would get quite interesting, we can always dream.

Your quite right there friend. If i had the money i would gladly blow my engine just to kick a VR-4's ass. (engine has over 254000)
Also if i had the $$$ i would surely have my SVX totaly rebult to do what it was meant to do. Kick the crap out of Corvette, Viper, TwinTurbo anything, and keep up with a Ferrari.

Mine is afectionaly called "The Ferarri Killer" on 3geez.com
Gosh how much i wish that was the truth. (awsome )
