It's a lot less if you swap to 4.44's!

Well the story just gets better.

They want me to take it to another Subaru dealer and see what they say. If it cost more then fair market of the car to repair it the warranty company wont pay it. Then he said he would probably buy me out of the car and then take it to an auction.

So if that happens one of you guys on the coast will have to sell me a nice one. Think there is someone on this board that has to many anyway correct?

Oh well, atleast if he buys it back I will have gotten the chance to really get the bug for one

Check some local yards for a 4.44 Outback tranny and rear diff to install, as that's cheaper than a re-manufactured tranny, and will hold up better, along with make the car a lot more fun to drive , tell them $2000 will cover it and have it fixed yourself...

Welllll

I wish I could tell them that but they wont buy it. Not sure whats going on now. I lifted my XT to get ready for winter because I sold the camo wagon. The SVX has been sitting for 3 days. Drove it yesterday to do a fall leave run and it never missed a beat. Was in the 60's outside, put 286 miles on it and also had the trans resister plugged back in. Now I'm starting to really wonder.
